WORD LIFE APPRECIATION AWARDS

COMMITMENT TO OFFLINE EVANGELISM is for those who have been diligently handing out WLC & REON pamphlets; witnessed publicly or to loved ones; accepted the call to be a Cell Group Leader; and invited people to church.

COMMITMENT TO ONLINE EVANGELISM is to acknowledge those who have proclaimed the gospel online; started or maintained an online ministry; re-shared WLC events on social media; assisted with Word Life's website and social media; or maybe invited someone to attend our Early Morning Prayer on Zoom.

COMMITMENT TO SPIRITUAL DEVELOPMENT is to acknowledge those who have shown growth in their spiritual journey. Maybe you've increased your attendance to Sunday services or other WLC events? Maybe you've taken on more responsibilities in church? Have you received the gift of the Holy Spirit this year? 

COMMITMENT TO BIBLICAL DEVELOPMENT is to acknowledge those who have engaged with their Bible more or in new ways this year. Have you joined Bible Study or a Christian course this year? What about offering to give an exhortation on one of our special days? Have you encouraged loved ones or members in the Word? 

COMMITMENT TO TEACHING, TRAINING & EDUCATION is to celebrate our teachers, preachers, facilitators and educators for encouraging members in the Word. Think Teaching; Bible Studies; Our Foundation & Advanced Christian Courses; Sermons; Prayer Sessions; and Holy Communion. 

COMMITMENT TO COMMUNITY WORK acknowledges members for their social practice and care for the community. This can include visiting and praying with members, evangelistic outreach, the development of new projects, and offsite community programming that incorporates WLC. This vote is open to all members of Word Life Centre & Word Life International Church. 

The FUNDRAISER OF THE YEAR celebrates those who are able to bring funds to Word Life, whether for additional projects, to support the hospitality & media teams, repairs & maintenance, or in a spiritual commitment to be a 'distribution centre'. This vote is open to all members of Word Life Centre & Word Life International Church.

The DORCAS HOSPITALITY AWARD is to acknowledge our ushers, hospitality team, chefs and cleaners for their commitment to world-class hospitality at Word Life. There's a reason visitors boast about the welcoming feeling when they visit us! This vote is open to all members of Word Life Centre & Word Life International Church. 

The COMMUNITY PROJECT OF THE YEAR is to acknowledge our event planners, evangelists, activists and organisers for their social practice and public engagement. Whether it be a fundraiser, a screening, a conference, concert, or something else, its these projects that ensure we remain holistically outward-looking. This vote is open to all members of Word Life Centre & Word Life International Church. 

THE TRIVERSITY AWARD is designed to recognise and celebrate the young people at Word Life for their creativity,  insight, talent, dedication, and other contributions over the past year. For this vote, we categorise 'young people' as '19 and under'. This vote is open to all members of Word Life Centre & Word Life International Church.

THE PEOPLE'S CHOICE is a category open for interpretation: whoever you feel deserves some recognition for what they've been doing at Word Life. There is also a 'NOTABLE NEWCOMER' category included in this. This vote is open to all members of Word Life Centre & Word Life International Church. 

The Pastors' Choice is an award category made up of four (4) awards, and will be chosen and presented by Senior Pastor David, Pastor Patricia, and Pastor Prisca. The awards are: ROLE MODEL OF THE YEAR; OUTSTANDING INDIVIDUAL ACHIEVEMENT; OUTSTANDING GROWTH; and VALEDICTORIAN.
